The APOPPS™ transtibial SOFTIE™ and SOFTIE-TF™ (for Transfemoral amputees) addresses two concerns: 1) vascular surgeon(s) who fear the application of any prosthetic socket for their dysvascular patients, and 2) prosthetists who see the cost of maintaining a prefabricated postoperative socket, or system, inventory as prohibitive.
