APOPPS
Adjustable
Postoperative, Protective and Preparatory System For Transtibial
Amputees
This three part postoperative, protective or preparatory prosthesis
allows the prosthetist to attach the components of choice. It
is available in the traditional 4 bolt attachment configuration
or in the 1 bolt european configuration (Endolite).
The APOPPS accepts either the FLO-TECH-TOR or the
VCSPS offering protection or ambulatory training from
postoperative amputation to definitive prosthesis. The UFOS
with foot and pylon components can be removed without removing
the inner socket. This then offers pracitioners a versatile
rehabilitation system. The patient can be sent home, or back
to their hospital room, with the protective or preparatory socket
on. The UFOS remains in the control and possession of
the physical therapist or prosthetist until the patient is determined
to be ready to assume the responsibility of donning and doffing
it themselves.
All three sockets work together to enable prosthetists to fit
virtually any shape or any size amputation. Adult sizes will
fit distal tibial circumference measurements of 13, 14, 15,
16, 17 and 18 inches, and are available in lengths of 7 and
9 inches. A total of 12 sizes (left) and 12 sizes (right) or
24 sockets.
Children sizes will fit distal tibial circumference measurements
of 8 and 9 inches, and are available in a length of 5 inches.
A total of 2 sockets (left) and 2 sockets (right) or 4 sockets.
Youth sizes will fit distal tibial circumference measurements
of 10, 11 and 12 inches, and are available in a length of 7
inches. A total of 3 sockets (left) and 3 sockets (right) or
6 sockets.
The APOPPS consists of 3 sockets (FLO-TECH-TOR,
VCSPS and the UFOS). Together we are able to offer
prosthetists 102 prefabricated transtibial socket systems,
overnight, to fit 80% of transtibial amputations. Custom
sockets can also be fabricated from measurements. Orders received
in our lab by noon will be shipped the same day. Making the
benefits of the APOPPS available to virtually 100% of
transtibial amputations.

APOPPS-TF
Adjustable
Postoperative, Protective and Preparatory System For Transfemoral
Amputees
The multi-layered belt system is designed to
accommodate circumferences ranging from 28" to 60" and to help
patients cope with the skin pressures inherent in all above
knee suspension belts. The first layer is a Neoplush and Velcro
two piece inner band designed to suspend the FLO-TECH-TOR-TF,
accommodate varying shapes and sizes and provide soft tissue
relief for the Silesian belt pressures. The second layer is
the Silesian belt (band). It is designed to maximize suspension
of the FLO-TECH-TOR-TF in bed and to provide suspension
of the UFOS-TF . The FLO-TECH-TOR-TF and UFOS-TF
sockets (APOPPS-TF) work together to enable prosthetists
to fit virtually any shape or any size amputation.
Adult sizes will fit ischial circumference measurements
of 15 to 18 inches (small), 19 to 20 inches (medium) and 23
to 26 inches (large) and are available in a length of 12 inches.
A total of 3 sizes (left) and 3 sizes (right) or 6 sockets.
There are 3 adult sizes available in left or right.
The APOPPS-TF consists of 2 sockets (FLO-TECH-TOR-TF
and UFOS-TF). Together we are able to offer prosthetists
12 prefabricated transfemoral socket systems, overnight,
to fit 80% of transfemoral amputations. Custom sockets can also
be fabricated from measurements. Orders received in our lab
by noon will be shipped the same day, making the benefits of
the FLO-TECH-TOR-TF and the UFOS-TF (APOPPS-TF)
available to virtually 100% of transfemoral amputations.
